Kuwait-UK talks bolster global fight against money laundering, terrorist financing

A Kuwaiti delegation led by Dr. Hamad Al-Makrad, Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, held discussions with senior officials at the UK Treasury in London.

The talks covered a range of shared priorities, reviewed ongoing cooperation, and explored new opportunities to expand partnership and exchange expertise in the fields of anti–money laundering and counterterrorism financing.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral coordination and supporting joint efforts aimed at strengthening the effectiveness of systems and procedures, while reinforcing the integrity and resilience of the financial sector.
