Kuwait, U.S. military leaders discuss defense cooperation

Commander of the Air Defense Force, Major General Khaled Al-Shariaan, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Commander of the U.S. Army Central Command, Lieutenant General Frank Patrick, to discuss topics of mutual military interest.

According to a statement by the General Staff, the meeting took place during Lieutenant General Patrick’s visit to the Air Defense Force Command, accompanied by a delegation from U.S. Central Command.

During the discussions, both sides reviewed the objectives of the visit and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral military cooperation.

They also observed a weekly field exercise conducted by the “Regional Brigade 9” with U.S. participation, aimed at enhancing joint operational coordination and aligning strategic defense concepts.
