Kuwait to train legal leaders to tackle public funds, investigations

The training program, proposed by the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies, aims to enhance participants’ skills in applying disciplinary sanctions, drafting administrative contracts, and understanding the rights and duties of public employees.

• The specialized training program aims to enhance the capabilities of legal leaders by enriching their knowledge of the latest legal practices in handling government disputes.

The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has issued a circular to ministers regarding a proposal from Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait. The proposal, submitted by the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies, seeks to establish a training program to enhance the skills of legal leaders, including department heads and directors of legal departments across ministries and government agencies, Al Qabas newspaper reported.

The training program, organized by the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies in collaboration with lecturers from the Fatwa and Legislation Department and the State Audit Bureau, aims to enhance the capabilities of legal leaders in handling public funds issues and administrative investigations.

The program also seeks to develop participants’ skills in applying disciplinary sanctions, drafting administrative contracts, and understanding the rights and duties of public employees. Additionally, it aims to enrich their knowledge of the latest legal practices in handling government disputes.
