Dr. Abdullah Al-Mutawa, regional head of the MELSET Asia office in Kuwait, announced that Kuwait has been chosen to host the 2027 Global Scientific Forum, highlighting the country’s growing role in advancing science and technology.

Dr. Al-Mutawa added this selection reflects both confidence in Kuwait’s capabilities and the excellence of its nomination in terms of organizational vision, infrastructure, and support from the government and community entities.

He noted that this selection builds on Kuwait’s success in hosting regional and international scientific events, positioning the country as a hub for the exchange of ideas and innovations in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). It also reinforces Kuwait’s commitment to nurturing the aspirations of young people in these critical fields.

Preparations are already underway for the forum, which will host participants from over 50 countries and more than 600 students from various educational levels.

The program will feature advanced scientific and technical initiatives, alongside cultural and heritage events that celebrate Kuwait’s historical identity.

Dr. Al-Mutawa emphasized that the event will serve as a platform to showcase Kuwait’s commitment to innovation, STEM education, and global collaboration, further strengthening its international reputation in science and technology.
