Kuwait to announce secondary school exam results at 11 am Wednesday

The Ministry of Education will officially announce the results of the General Secondary Certificate (GSC) exams for the current academic year today at 11:00 am tomorrow.

The results will be accessible via the ministry’s website and the “Sahel” app.

According to educational sources, Minister of Education Dr. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei will approve the results during a press conference at the ministry’s headquarters, reports Al-Jarida daily.

He will also make live congratulatory phone calls to the top ten students across the science, arts, religious education, and special education tracks. These calls will be broadcast live on Kuwait TV.

The minister closely monitored the final stages of the correction process at the control room to ensure transparency and fairness. This year, approximately 42,000 students took the exams — 28,400 in the science stream, 13,300 in arts, and 874 in religious education.

Sources confirmed that subject scores aligned with expected performance levels. They also emphasized the ministry’s enforcement of strict anti-cheating measures and penalties, including the deployment of 199 national monitors to supervise exam committees and safeguard the integrity of the results.
