Kuwait Tamil Sangam celebrates KTS Family Day 2025

The Kuwait Tamil Sangam (KTS) celebrated its vibrant KTS Family Day 2025 with remarkable enthusiasm and cultural splendor on 14 November 2025 at the Salmiya Indian Model School Auditorium.

The event gathered members, families, and special guests for an evening enriched with tradition, entertainment, and a strong spirit of togetherness

The celebration began with the ceremonial lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, a symbolic gesture representing prosperity and the enduring cultural heritage of the Tamil community.

This was followed by the presidential address delivered by Dr. Ananthi Natarajan, President of the 2024–2025 committee, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the committee and KTS families for their continuous support and dedication throughout the year.

The evening unfolded with a series of captivating musical and dance performances by both children and adults. From classical and folk to contemporary routines, each performance showcased the community’s rich talent and cultural pride, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience.

One of the key moments of the event was the formal introduction of the KTS Executive Committee for 2025–2026, who officially assumed their roles during the ceremony.

The presence of celebrity guests Mrs. Haripriya Isai, the popular actress known for Ethir Neechal, and Azhar of Vijay TV fame added charm and excitement to the celebration.

Their warm interaction with the audience, energetic hosting, and lively participation greatly elevated the festive atmosphere.

Following the introduction of the new committee, the event presented an entertaining Couple’s Ramp Walk, featuring KTS members. The couples impressed with their creativity, elegance, and confidence, making the segment one of the most delightful highlights of the night.

The memorable evening concluded with heartfelt expressions of gratitude, strengthened community bonds, and a renewed sense of unity—further reaffirming the Kuwait Tamil Sangam’s mission to preserve and promote Tamil culture among the Tamil diaspora in Kuwait.
