Kuwait sweats through intense heat today

The Meteorology Department forecasts a very hot day today, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate at 10-40 kilometers per hour, occasionally gusty. Scattered clouds are also expected, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

The department indicated that the nighttime weather will be hot to very hot and partly cloudy, with northwesterly to variable winds blowing at light to moderate speeds of eight to thirty five kilometers per hour.

The department also forecasted a maximum temperature of 47 degrees at Kuwait International Airport, with the minimum dropping to 29 degrees.
