Kuwait suspends all flights to Iran until further notice
. . . amid regional escalation and airspace closure

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation announced the suspension and cancellation of all flights departing from the State of Kuwait to Iran until further notice, citing the current political and military developments in the region and the complete closure of Iranian airspace.
Official spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi stated that the decision was taken to ensure the highest levels of aviation safety and in line with internationally recognized procedures followed during exceptional circumstances, reports Al-Rai daily.
He explained that the closure of Iranian airspace may also affect additional flights whose routes previously relied on crossing Iranian territory, potentially causing delays until alternative flight paths are arranged and operational safety requirements are fully secured.
The authority confirmed that it is closely monitoring developments around the clock in coordination with relevant local and international bodies. It added that any updates regarding the resumption of flights will be announced once conditions improve and Iranian airspace is reopened.
