
The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) closed trading on Sunday with its general index down 15.34 points (0.18%), settling at 8,650.50 points.
Total trading volume reached 536.5 million shares across 24,321 spot transactions, valued at 112.7 dinars million.
The Main Market Index bucked the overall trend, rising 34.84 points (0.44%) to 7,945.59 points, with 284.4 million shares traded in 13,840 transactions worth 38.15 million dinars.
In contrast, the Premier Market Index fell 28.62 points (0.31%) to 9,253.78 points, with 252.1 million shares exchanged in 10,481 transactions worth 74.6 million dinars.
The KSE Main 50 Index also slipped 26.90 points (0.34%) to 7,964.37 points, on 197.3 million shares traded in 8,898 transactions worth 30.4 million dinars.
Top gainers included Al-Kout, Al-Safat, Unicap, and Tamdeen A, while Emirates, Muntazah, Gulf B, and Meezan were among the most notable decliners.
