Kuwait steps up efforts for cleaner roads and safer communities

The Kuwait municipality emphasized that its regulatory teams are committed to taking strict legal action against those who violate the public hygiene and road occupancy regulations.

Municipal teams follow a set schedule of morning and evening field tours to monitor violators, maintain cleanliness by cleaning highways and streets, removing waste, and addressing anything that detracts from the area’s appearance.

Kuwait Municipality has announced an increase in field hygiene campaigns across the countrys six governorates to improve road and street cleanliness, aiming to enhance public health and safety for citizens and residents. The municipality emphasized that its regulatory teams are committed to taking strict legal action against those who violate the public hygiene and road occupancy regulations, according to Q8-Press.

Mishary Al-Madiyan, the supervisor of road works at the municipality branch in the capital governorate, told KUNA that the field campaigns aim to maintain cleanliness in general by cleaning highways and main streets, removing all waste, and addressing any elements that distort the general view of the areas.

Al-Madiyan added that the various municipal teams in the capital governorate work according to a specific schedule, with a system of morning and evening field tours to monitor violators and take all necessary legal action against them.
