Kuwait, Somalia strengthen bilateral ties; sign 2 MoUs
Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya met with Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, during his official visit to Kuwait. During the visit both sides reviewed the strong ties between their countries and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.
The ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and discussed ongoing regional and global issues of mutual concern.
Following the meeting, the two countries signed an agreement to establish a joint committee for bilateral cooperation and two memoranda of understanding covering bilateral consultations and cooperation between their respective diplomatic institutes.
The agreements reflect the shared commitment of Kuwait and Somalia to deepen their partnership and expand cooperation across political, economic, and cultural domains.
