The Official Gazette ‘Kuwait Alyawm’ published decrees approving several international agreements and a memorandum of understanding, reinforcing Kuwait’s cooperation with regional and global partners.

Decree No. 130 of 2025 approved an agreement to link payment systems among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The move aims to strengthen economic ties within the GCC and enhance collaboration across multiple sectors amid evolving global economic conditions.

Decree No. 163 of 2025 endorsed a memorandum of understanding between Kuwait and Oman focusing on consumer protection, to promote stronger cooperation in safeguarding consumer rights.

Decree No. 164 of 2025 ratified an agreement with China to allocate land for the construction of the Kuwaiti Consulate General in Guangzhou, enhancing diplomatic infrastructure.

Decree No. 165 of 2025 approved a cultural cooperation agreement with Uzbekistan, covering the fields of culture and arts to foster stronger cultural exchanges and mutual understanding.

These measures reflect Kuwait’s ongoing commitment to strengthening regional integration, advancing international partnerships, and promoting cultural and economic collaboration
