Kuwait revokes citizenship of 130 individuals under five decrees

The Kuwait Al-Youm official gazette has published the names of the persons whose Kuwaiti citizenship has been revoked through five separate decrees.

The following are the details:

  • Decree No. 108 ordered the revocation of citizenship from one individual.
  • Decree No. 109 withdrew citizenship from another individual, as well as from those who had obtained it through their affiliation.
  • Decree No. 110 revoked the citizenship of four women and their dependents.
  • Decree No. 111 included the withdrawal of nationality from 10 individuals and others who had acquired citizenship through dependency.
  • Decree No. 112 constituted the largest group, stripping 114 individuals and their dependents of Kuwaiti citizenship.

    The decrees reflect ongoing enforcement of nationality regulations in the country.
