Kuwait reveals essential health guidelines for Hajj, Umrah pilgrims
As per Saudi Arabia’s regulations, Hajj applicants must get the meningococcal vaccine and seasonal shots like influenza, pneumococcal, and COVID-19 vaccines.

The Ministry of Health outlined general instructions for this year’s Hajj pilgrims, setting health guidelines for the 1445 AH – 2024 AD Hajj season.
As per Saudi Arabia’s regulations, Hajj applicants must receive the meningococcal vaccine (ACW135Y).
Additionally, pilgrims are advised to get seasonal vaccines like influenza, pneumococcal, and COVID-19 vaccines, all of which are approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health and available in Kuwait.
Adherence to preventive instructions issued by Saudi health authorities during rituals is crucial.
Pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims must follow these guidelines before leaving the country.
