Kuwait records 74.4 million dinars in real estate deals over one week

The Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice reported 110 real estate transactions in Kuwait during the week of July 13 to 17, with a total value of approximately 74.4 million dinars.

According to statistics published on the ministry’s official website, private residential properties dominated the market with 76 contracts valued at KD 27.4 million, followed by investment properties, which saw 30 deals worth KD 37.9 million. Meanwhile, the commercial real estate sector recorded just two transactions, totaling KD 6.5 million, reports Al-Rai daily.

In terms of geographical distribution, the Ahmadi Governorate led the activity with 29 private property deals, 16 investment transactions, and one commercial property sale. Farwaniya followed with 17 private and 3 investment property trades, while Hawalli registered 10 private and 7 investment property transactions.

The Capital Governorate saw the trading of 7 private and 2 investment properties, Mubarak Al-Kabeer recorded 6 private and 2 investment transactions, and Jahra Governorate had 7 private property trades during the same period.

These figures reflect steady momentum in Kuwait’s real estate sector, with private and investment properties continuing to drive the bulk of activity.
