Kuwait records 151 mln dinars in real estate transactions over a week

The Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice announced today that 150 real estate contracts were traded across Kuwait during the week of June 22 to 30, with a combined value of approximately 151 million dinars.
According to the Ministry’s statistics published on its official website, private real estate topped the list in terms of volume, with 95 properties sold, amounting to KD 39 million.
Investment real estate came in second, recording the trade of 48 properties valued at KD 54 million. Meanwhile, the commercial sector saw five deals worth a total of KD 52 million. The crafts sector recorded a single transaction worth KD 2 million, and one deal on the coastal strip was valued at KD 4 million.

- Capital Governorate — 22 private real estate contracts; 11 investment contracts; 2 commercial contracts
- Hawalli Governorate — 19 private contracts; 12 investment contracts; 2 commercial contracts
- Farwaniya Governorate — 12 private real estate contracts; 7 investment contracts
- Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate — 9 private real estate contracts
- Ahmadi Governorate — 20 private properties; 17 investment contracts
- Jahra Governorate — 13 private property contracts; 1 investment contract
These figures reflect sustained activity across both the residential and investment segments of Kuwait’s real estate market, with notable transactions in both urban and coastal areas.
