The President of the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA), Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah, said Kuwait is committed to strengthening international and regional partnerships and support efforts of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to enhance the safety, security, and sustainability of civil aviation.
His remarks came after a series of high-level meetings he held on the sidelines of the ICAO General Assembly in Canada.
During the meetings, Sheikh Hamoud — who led Kuwait’s delegation – discussed ways to boost cooperation in civil aviation with heads of delegations from the United States, Qatar, Oman, Spain, and Malaysia.
He emphasized that Kuwait views its engagement with ICAO as part of a broader strategy to keep pace with developments in global aviation and to ensure that the sector continues to contribute to sustainable growth and international connectivity.
