Kuwait raises readiness to highest levels as Cabinet remains in permanent session
The Kuwaiti Cabinet has decided to remain in continuous session to monitor fast-moving local and regional developments, as the government intensifies field measures to confront the repercussions of the ongoing conflict.
His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, accompanied by senior ministers, conducted inspection tours of key facilities to ensure maximum preparedness, safeguard citizens and residents, and maintain uninterrupted essential services.
During a visit to one of the country’s approved emergency shelters, the Prime Minister, alongside Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, reviewed operational mechanisms, safety systems, and logistical readiness to guarantee a secure environment under exceptional circumstances, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Cabinet urged citizens and residents to rely solely on official sources for information and avoid rumors that could create confusion or undermine public confidence.
On the ground, the armed forces continue operating at full readiness. The General Staff announced that Kuwait’s air defenses successfully intercepted and destroyed a wave of missiles and drones detected in the country’s airspace, reaffirming full preparedness to counter any threats to national security.
