Kuwait-Qatar talks focus on deepening fraternal relations and regional issues

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah held a meeting today at Bayan Palace with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman.
The discussions reviewed the distinguished fraternal relations between Kuwait and Qatar and explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation to support the deep-rooted ties between the brotherly peoples and achieve their shared goals for further development and prosperity.
The meeting also covered the latest developments in regional and international affairs.
The Kuwaiti delegation included the Head of the Prime Minister’s Office, Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jarrah Al-Jaber; the Undersecretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, Sheikh Khalid Al-Khalid; and the Assistant Foreign Minister for Gulf Cooperation Council Affairs, Ambassador Najib Al-Badr.
Representing the Qatari side were the Minister of Trade and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani; the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan Al-Muraikhi; and Qatar’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Ali Al-Mahmoud.
