Kuwait PM, IMF chief discuss ways to bolster economic cooperation
The meeting between the two leaders focused on boosting collaboration between Kuwait and the International Monetary Fund, promoting trade expansion, and supporting the country’s economic growth.
His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, received Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and her delegation at Bayan Palace during her visit to Kuwait, reported Al Jarida newspaper.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Kuwait and the IMF, promoting trade expansion, and supporting the country’s economic growth. The discussions also reviewed Kuwait’s ongoing initiatives and ambitious economic vision.
The Head of the Prime Minister’s Office, Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil, attended the meeting.
