Kuwait plans urgent evacuation of over 1,000 citizens from Iran

Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs, Ambassador H.E. Samih Hayat, announced that there is an urgent plan to evacuate more than 1,000 Kuwaiti citizens currently in Iran.

He emphasized that the evacuation process will be carried out as soon as possible, in coordination with the relevant authorities, reports Al-Rai daily.

Ambassador Hayat reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its citizens abroad, particularly in regions experiencing instability.

The move comes amid growing regional tensions, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with Kuwaiti diplomatic missions and partner entities to facilitate the safe return of nationals.
