The Kuwaiti pavilion succeeded in attracting numerous visitors, specialists, and those interested in the environment to listen to and participate in lectures aimed at enhancing environmental awareness
On Wednesday, the Kuwaiti pavilion at the Doha Horticultural Expo 2023 secured the “Most Educational” award during the exhibition’s activities. The expo commenced last October.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Engineer Samira Al-Kandari, Acting Director-General of the Environment Public Authority and Acting Commissioner-General of the Kuwait Pavilion at Expo Doha, expressed her happiness at the Kuwait Pavilion winning this award.
Al-Kandari added that winning this award reflects the role of the Kuwaiti pavilion in the exhibition, which offers numerous courses, lectures, and events related to the environment and environmental sustainability.
She mentioned that the pavilion succeeded in attracting numerous visitors, specialists, and those interested in the environment to listen to and participate in lectures aimed at enhancing environmental awareness and learning about the role of the Environment Public Authority in this regard.
Al-Kandari extended her thanks and appreciation to the organizers of the Doha Horticultural Expo 2023 and to all the workers at the pavilion during the six-month exhibition period.
The Kuwaiti pavilion at the exhibition comprises several sections: the interactive area, the cylindrical museum, and the Kuwait Oasis, along with a children’s area.
The exhibition focuses on modern agricultural techniques, technology, innovation, environmental awareness, and sustainability. It also offers programs to encourage, inspire, and inform the public about innovative solutions aimed at reducing desertification.
The Doha Horticultural Expo 2023 was launched on October 2nd under the slogan “’Green Desert, Better Environment” and will conclude its activities on Thursday.
