Kuwait participates in international symposium on translation and security in Morocco

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior took part in the International Symposium on Translation and Security, held in Rabat, Morocco, with the participation of representatives from Arab and Islamic interior ministries, along with a number of experts and specialists in translation and security.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Interior said that its delegation discussed the critical role of translation in enhancing security cooperation and facilitating the exchange of information among relevant parties. This, it noted, is particularly vital in addressing shared security challenges, especially the fight against cross-border terrorism, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Ministry emphasized that the symposium highlighted translation as a key tool in overcoming language barriers and strengthening joint security coordination. The event also served as a platform to exchange expertise and share experiences, including Kuwait’s contributions and advancements in the field of security translation.
Participation in the symposium, the Ministry added, is part of Kuwait’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and exchanging knowledge with sisterly and friendly countries—efforts that contribute to reinforcing both regional and global security systems.
The Kuwaiti delegation included Colonel Ahmed Abel and Captain Jassim Al Balushi.
