Kuwait Navy units take part in ‘Gulf Peace 1’ exercise in Saudi Arabia

The Kuwaiti Naval Force has dispatched the patrol boat “Failaka,” the landing ship “Al-Safar,” and special naval units to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to take part in the joint bilateral military exercise “Gulf Peace 1” with the Royal Saudi Navy’s Eastern Fleet.

The exercise is being held from January 16 to 25, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a press statement issued on Sunday, the Kuwaiti Army said that the naval force’s participation in the exercise comes as part of efforts to strengthen joint military cooperation between the two brotherly countries, enhance naval capabilities, and exchange expertise in maritime operations, in a manner that contributes to raising the efficiency and readiness of naval personnel.
