Kuwait National Guard Downs Two Drones, Affirms High Security Readiness
The Kuwait National Guard (KNG) announced that it successfully intercepted and downed two drones within its areas of responsibility over the past 24 hours.
In an official statement issued Monday, KNG spokesperson Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadhel said the operation was carried out as part of an ongoing security framework aimed at strengthening national defense, protecting vital strategic sites, and neutralizing potential threats.
Brigadier General Fadhel emphasized the strong coordination between the National Guard, the Kuwait Army, the Ministry of Interior, and the Kuwait Fire Force. He noted that the joint efforts reflect a high level of preparedness among the country’s security institutions.
He further affirmed that these forces remain at peak combat readiness to confront any attempts that could threaten Kuwait’s security, sovereignty, or internal stability, while ensuring the protection of national interests and key resources.
