Kuwait National Guard downs incoming Iranian drone at Security Site

The Kuwait National Guard announced that its forces successfully intercepted and downed a drone (3.30 pm today) at one of the sites under its responsibility, where it provides support to the Ministry of Defense.

The action forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security measures, safeguard vital facilities, and address any potential threats.

In a statement, the National Guard urged the public to comply with all security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities. It also affirmed that its forces remain on high alert, working in close coordination with the army, police, and the Public Fire Force to respond swiftly to any security challenges.

The Guard stressed its readiness to confront any attempts to undermine the nation’s security, reiterating its commitment to protecting Kuwait’s sovereignty, stability, and national interests.
