“Kuwait Municipality” to intensify field tours for regulation awareness
The Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Abdul Latif Al-Mishari recently chaired a meeting of the Supreme Committee of Kuwait Municipality leaders, where they discussed various topics aimed at enhancing the Municipality’s operational efficiency and streamlining procedures.
During a recent meeting, Minister Al-Mishari emphasized the need for improved inter-sector cooperation within Kuwait’s Municipality. He stressed the importance of developing a comprehensive action plan that would be regularly monitored and updated to enhance the municipality’s efficiency.
Additionally, Al-Mishari directed the heads of governorates to ramp up field visits, aiming to raise full awareness of the existing regulations and ensure strict adherence, where there would be no leniency toward violators.
As an important measure, Minister Al-Mishari emphasized the necessity of revamping Kuwait’s cleaning contracts, ensuring they differ significantly from previous ones in terms of operational mechanisms, manpower, and efficiency.
Moreover, Al-Mishari highlighted the importance of fostering a competitive environment between governorates to improve the quality of cleaning services. This initiative aims to better meet the expectations of both citizens and residents.
