Kuwait Municipality mobilizes massive cleanup effort for Ramadan night prayers
300 workers, heavy equipment deployed to serve worshippers as crowds gather for last ten nights of Ramadan

The Kuwait Municipality announced Tuesday that it has mobilized its full field capabilities and operational resources to serve the large number of worshippers attending night prayers during the final ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a press statement, the municipality said teams have intensified their efforts to clean parking areas and public squares surrounding major mosques across the country to accommodate worshippers arriving from all six governorates to perform Qiyam prayer.
Municipal teams from the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Departments carried out extensive operations on Monday to remove abandoned vehicles, cars offered for sale, and trucks parked near large mosques in preparation for the expected crowds.
The municipality said the field preparations involved significant manpower and equipment, including 15 cleaning inspectors, 10 cleaning centers and around 300 sanitation workers.
The operation also deployed 70 half-lorries, 14 large dump trucks and 11 bulldozers, while road occupancy units supported the effort through six operational centers equipped with 10 cranes, six forklifts and six water tankers across all governorates.
Officials said the measures are part of ongoing efforts to ensure safe, organized and clean surroundings for worshippers gathering at mosques during the spiritually significant last nights of Ramadan.
