Kuwait Municipality completes studies for Jahra Waterfront Project

Kuwait Municipality confirmed on Wednesday that all studies related to the Jahra Waterfront project have been completed by specialized firms with international expertise.

Deputy Director General for Projects, Maysa Boushehri, stated in a press release that the municipality recently held a preliminary meeting for the project to clarify the scope of work, participation requirements, and to answer inquiries from stakeholders.

This approach reinforces the principles of transparency and equal opportunity for all participating companies.

Boushehri explained that the preliminary meeting is part of the municipality’s efforts to streamline tendering procedures and enhance clarity regarding technical and contractual requirements for all participants.

She emphasized that the Jahra Waterfront project reflects Kuwait Municipality’s commitment to delivering initiatives that have undergone thorough studies conducted by internationally experienced firms.

She further noted that the project is the largest currently tendered by the municipality and is designed to provide sports, recreational, and commercial facilities for residents of the northern regions, which are experiencing rapid growth.

The project aims to offer these services in line with the latest international best practices.
