Kuwait military and security forces stand guard against escalating threats

From the northern borders to the southern parts of the country, Kuwait’s security and military personnel continue to demonstrate loyalty and dedication as they confront what officials described as blatant Iranian aggression and hostile attacks targeting vital civilian facilities in Kuwait and other Gulf states.
Kuwaiti authorities reported that Kuwait International Airport was targeted early Thursday by several drones, causing material damage but no casualties.
Abdullah Al Rajhi, official spokesperson for the General Authority of Civil Aviation, said the incident was handled according to the emergency response plan activated since the start of the crisis, in full coordination with relevant authorities across the country, reports Al-Rai daily..
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, conducted an inspection visit to the Ministry of Education alongside Education Minister Jalal Al Tabtabaei.
The visit reviewed preparations to ensure the continuity of the educational process and included a tour of the ministry’s emergency shelter and safety systems.
The Prime Minister praised the efforts of education sector staff, stressing the government’s full support for maintaining educational services despite the current circumstances.
In a related development, Sheikh Fahad Al Yousef, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, emphasized that safeguarding Kuwait’s security is a national responsibility.
During an inspection tour of the northern border posts and the Al Abdali Border Crossing and Al Salmi Border Crossing, he called for continued vigilance and readiness to protect the country’s borders.
He stressed that the personnel of the Ministry of Interior (Kuwait) remain the nation’s protective shield, reaffirming their commitment to defending Kuwait’s security and stability.
