Kuwait issues weather alert for strong winds and dust storms

The Kuwait Meteorological Department has warned of strong northwesterly winds exceeding 50 km/h, which may lead to dust storms and significantly reduce visibility, especially in exposed areas.

Additionally, high winds could cause rough seas, with waves exceeding 6 feet, and there is a chance of scattered rain, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms.

In response to the unstable weather, the Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) has urged citizens and residents to exercise caution while driving.

The KFF advised the public to remain vigilant and, in case of emergencies, contact the 112 hotline for assistance.
