His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah officially inaugurated the New Maternity Hospital in Al-Sabah Health District.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. His Highness the Crown Prince after unveiling the memorial plaque toured the hospital’s emergency operating room.
He was received by Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi and senior ministry officials. The ceremony was also attended by Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah and other state dignitaries.
In his address, the Health Minister emphasized the hospital’s role as a major step in advancing Kuwait’s healthcare sector, aligning with the national development plan and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The facility, equipped with cutting-edge medical technologies and run by skilled national staff, represents a key pillar in Kuwait’s Vision 2030 strategy for high-quality healthcare.
The event concluded with a documentary on the hospital’s construction and a commemorative gift presentation to the Crown Prince.
