Kuwait implements strict traffic law with modern surveillance technology

Kuwait’s new traffic law focuses on the operations and control room in the Sabahiya area.

The new-generation traffic surveillance cameras, according to Al-Rai daily, actively monitoring violations, including drivers using mobile phones at traffic lights.

The offenders were identified and fined 75 dinars as per the new law which went into effect today.

The report emphasizes how these advanced technologies are helping enforce road safety measures and reduce distracted driving, contributing to safer traffic conditions across multiple governorates.
