Kuwait hails ceasefire between India and Pakistan, calls for continued dialogue

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, voicing optimism that the move will help restore security and stability in the region.
In an official statement, the Ministry praised the efforts of the United States and other nations that played a role in mediating between the two sides, saying: “The State of Kuwait commends the efforts made by the friendly United States of America and all other countries in mediating and bringing the two sides together to reach this important agreement.”
The statement reiterated Kuwait’s longstanding commitment to dialogue and peaceful diplomacy.
“The State of Kuwait reaffirms its firm and supportive stance toward dialogue and diplomatic solutions as a means of resolving disputes and conflicts at the regional and international levels,” said the statement.
