“Kuwait Hackathon 2024” intensive training camp launched

Participants will undergo practical training and theory lectures that will hone their skills further and equip them with the ability to face modern digital challenges.

Cybersecurity Center announced today, Sunday, the launch of the intensive training camp for the “Kuwait Hackathon 2024” competition, which will be held on, 30 November 2024, at Kuwait University (Shadadiyah), organized by it, and in cooperation with “Coded” Company.

The center stated in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the camp will be launched with the participation of 56 young men and women, who have passed the specified conditions, with the aim of qualifying them to participate in advanced cybersecurity fields.

Furthermore, the camp will continue for three consecutive weeks, during which participants will receive comprehensive training covering the basics of cybersecurity, in addition to offensive and defensive security techniques, which will help them build a strong foundation in this vital field.

It was also pointed out that the training camp is supervised by a group of experts and specialists in the field of Cybersecurity. These experts will provide participants with practical training and theoretical lectures aimed at honing their skills and enhancing their ability to face modern digital challenges.

More importantly, this training camp comes as a stage of the competition to support and develop digital innovation and cyber security through specialized programs that will be presented to them.

As a result, this training camp will not only enhance the capabilities of Kuwaiti youth in developing and finding technical solutions to confront future cyber threats, but also augment the stability and security of the cyberspace of the State of Kuwait.
