The Kuwait Fire Force on Tuesday conducted a wide-ranging inspection campaign in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, resulting in the administrative closure of a number of facilities and the issuance of notices and warnings to 131 violating establishments and shops.
In a press statement, the KFF said the campaign was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Public Authority for Industry and Kuwait Municipality, as part of ongoing efforts to enforce safety regulations and fire prevention, reports Al-Rai daily.
The inspections targeted buildings and facilities found to be in violation of approved safety standards, with authorities stressing that the campaign aims to protect lives and property and ensure compliance with fire safety measures across industrial and commercial areas.
