Kuwait faces hot and humid weekend with a chance of light fog

The country is under the influence of an Indian seasonal depression, bringing a hot and humid air mass with light to moderate northwesterly to southeasterly winds.

The Meteorology Department reported that the weather this weekend will be hot and humid during the day and remain hot and humid at night, with a chance of light fog, Al Rai newspaper reported.

Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director of the Department, told the Kuwait News Agency that weather maps show the country is under the influence of an Indian seasonal depression, bringing a hot and humid air mass with light to moderate northwesterly to southeasterly winds.

Al-Qarawi explained that Thursday’s weather will be hot and humid, with variable winds from the southeast, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 10 to 32 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 44 and 47 degrees Celsius, and the sea will have light to moderate waves, ranging from one to four feet.

He added that tonight’s weather will be hot and humid, especially in coastal areas, with southeasterly to southwesterly winds, light to moderate in speed, between ten and thirty kilometers per hour.

Al-Qarawi pointed out that Friday’s weather will be hot and humid, with variable winds from the southeast, light to moderate in speed, ranging from eight to 30 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 45 and 47 degrees Celsius, with some scattered clouds. The sea will have light to moderate waves, ranging from one to three feet.

He added that tomorrow night’s weather will be hot and humid, with light to moderate southeasterly to southwesterly winds, between ten and thirty kilometers per hour.

There is a chance of light fog in some areas, along with scattered clouds. The minimum temperature is expected to be between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius, and the sea will have light to moderate waves, ranging from one to three feet.

Regarding the weather on Saturday, Al-Qarawi said it will be hot and humid, especially in coastal areas, with variable southeasterly winds, light to moderate in speed, between eight and 32 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 45 and 48 degrees Celsius. The sea will have light to moderate waves, between one and three feet.
