Kuwait expresses solidarity with Iran amid regional escalation

Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, to express Kuwait’s solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people amid heightened regional tensions following Israeli airstrikes.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Minister Al-Yahya reaffirmed Kuwait’s firm rejection of all forms of violence and escalation.

He underscored the urgent need for coordinated diplomatic and political efforts to reduce tensions and safeguard the region’s security and stability, reports Al-Rai.
