Kuwait experiencing rainy conditions

Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director of the Kuwait Meteorological Department, reported that the country experienced rainy conditions that began in the early hours of Monday morning and are expected to continue until the afternoon. Al-Qarawi, in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), anticipated that the weather would gradually improve starting this evening, as a high-pressure system extends from the west.

He explained that the rainy conditions are a result of a superficial depression accompanied by warm and humid air mass, coinciding with the presence of a deep depression in the upper atmosphere. This led to the proliferation of low and medium clouds, interspersed with cumulus clouds, accompanied by light to moderate rain, active winds, reduced horizontal visibility in some areas, and sea waves rising to more than six feet.
