Kuwait exerts unified efforts to upgrade charity work in line with global standards

The Committee for Regulating Humanitarian and Charitable Work, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, held its sixth meeting to discuss a new legislative framework for humanitarian activities in Kuwait.
The proposed humanitarian work law seeks to enhance regulatory standards, improve oversight, and ensure effectiveness in Kuwait’s charitable initiatives, both domestically and abroad, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Interior Minister emphasized Kuwait’s dedication to preserving its leadership and international reputation in humanitarian work through stronger laws and institutional reforms.
Representatives from relevant ministries participated in the committee meeting, reflecting a unified effort to upgrade Kuwait’s charitable sector in line with international best practices.
