Kuwait-Egypt wraps up joint naval exercise ‘KWT-EGY-2’ at Mohammed Al-Ahmad Base

The Ministry of Defense announced today the conclusion of the joint naval exercise (KWT-EGY-2) between the Kuwaiti and Egyptian naval forces, held at Mohammed Al-Ahmad Naval Base.
According to the ministry’s press release, the five-day exercise, which took place from July 13 to 17, aimed at boosting coordination in maritime border protection, safeguarding territorial waters, and securing critical infrastructure.
The training included a combination of field operations and specialized workshops, designed to improve combat readiness and unify operational procedures in joint naval environments.
The Ministry emphasized that the joint drills are part of Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to develop the capabilities of its naval personnel and strengthen military cooperation with regional allies.
This exercise is a reflection of the Kuwaiti Naval Force’s commitment to enhancing strategic partnerships with sisterly and friendly nations. It aligns with broader efforts to promote collective security, improve interoperability, and contribute to regional maritime stability.
