Kuwait Defense Ministry Reports 17 Ballistic Missiles, 13 Drones Detected Over 24 Hours

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that air defense systems detected 17 hostile ballistic missiles within Kuwaiti airspace over the past 24 hours, intercepting and destroying 13 of them, while four fell outside threat zones without posing danger.
In a briefing, the ministry’s official spokesperson, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan said interception operations resulted in debris falling in several areas, causing limited material damage to some homes and disrupting parts of the power grid, with no reported casualties.
He added that 13 hostile drones were also detected, 10 of which were destroyed, while three fell outside threat zones without causing harm. Al-Atwan affirmed the readiness and resilience of Kuwait’s armed forces in safeguarding the country’s security and sovereignty amid ongoing developments. – Kuna
