Kuwait declares 15 September as a public holiday for Prophet’s birthday
Work will resume as usual on Monday, 16 September
The Kuwaiti Cabinet has officially declared Sunday, 15 September, as a public holiday on account of the birth of the Prophet.
In a weekly cabinet meeting, it was decided that all ministries, government departments, and public institutions will be closed on this day.
Normal working hours will resume on the following Monday, 16 September.
However, for entities with specialized work requirements, the decision to grant a holiday will be made by the relevant authorities, taking into account the public interest.
