Kuwait dealt with 2 drones targeting Ahmad Al-Jaber Air Base

The Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that Kuwait’s air defense systems have detected and dealt with two drones that targeted Ahmad Al-Jaber Air Base, resulting in material damage within the base’s vicinity.
In the media briefing conducted by the Government Communication Center, Ministry of Defense Spokesman Col. Saud Al-Atwan said the Armed Forces also detected five more drones within the last 24 hours; three destroyed, while two were out of the danger zone.
“Three soldiers sustained minor injuries and are being treated. Their condition is stable.” Al-Atwan added that Kuwait National Guard also managed to down two drones, while the army bomb squad dealt with 13 reports.
He commended the significant role of Kuwaiti men and women in the military and security services and various state institutions, who have continued to perform their duties responsibly and faithfully since the beginning of this brutal aggression, reflecting the unity of national efforts to protect the country’s security and stability under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Sheikh Meshal Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al- Hamad Al-Sabah. – KUNA
