Kuwait Customs enforces ban on foodstuff Exports
The Kuwait General Administration of Customs (KGAC) stated on Wednesday that instructions were issued to all land, sea, and air crossings not to allow exportation of any foodstuffs in line with the Minister of Commerce and Industry No. (20) of 2026.
According to Kuna Report, KGAC clarified in a statement that these instructions have been circulated to all customs departments, while taking necessary action against violators, to preserve food security and ensure the stability of the local market.
It also confirmed that no abnormal radiation readings have been detected through their monitoring systems, adding that all monitoring indicators are within safe limits.
The KGAC added that monitoring systems and devices are operating at high efficiency and readiness, and that inspection work continues regularly to protect the country, implement all decisions issued by the competent authorities.
