Kuwait Customs disburses 164,823 dinars in seizure bonuses to 338 Officers

The General Administration of Customs is distributing 164,823 dinars among 338 eligible customs inspectors and auditors in recognition of their efforts to combat violations and enforce customs regulations.

In a statement, the department added the money has already been transferred to the Central Bank of Kuwait to be deposited into the beneficiaries’ local bank accounts, reports Al-Rai daily.

The initiative comes upon the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, who has shown strong support for frontline enforcement personnel.

The Customs Department conveyed Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef’s appreciation for the professionalism and dedication of the customs officers — both men and women — who work across Kuwait’s ports.

He commended their vital role in protecting the nation’s borders and upholding the integrity of its systems through their precise and vigilant application of customs laws.

The bonus reflects the government’s continued efforts to motivate and reward customs employees for their high performance and commitment to national security, especially in an environment that requires constant vigilance and professionalism.
