Kuwait Cricket celebrates DP World ILT20 triumph, honors champions Boubyan Warriors

Kuwait Cricket marked the successful conclusion of the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament Kuwait 2025 with a special felicitation ceremony led by Director General Mr. Sajid Ashraf. The event recognized the efforts and performances of all the players, coaches, teams management, support staff, and officials, following a thrilling tournament that saw the Boubyan Warriors crowned champions.

Mr. Ashraf appreciated the tireless efforts and sincere hardwork of the entire grounds staff and venue management for their vital role in delivering a high-quality event.

The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Qasim Ali, Tournament Director and Head Coach of National Teams, along with Deputy Tournament Director Mr. Naveen Jayan (HPC). Also present were key figures from the KCC management such as Mr. Munaf Tisekar (HPC), Mr. John Melwyn (HPC Head of Domestic ), Mr. Naresh (Deputy Head of Match Officials), Mr. Robert Dsouza (Head of Operations ), and Mr. Saud Qamar (HPC & Head of Public Relations) , among others.

All participating teams and players were in attendance, celebrating the tournament’s success and Kuwait Cricket’s continued commitment to cricket development. The event highlighted the unity and professionalism that made the tournament a grand success, promising more such milestones in the future.
