Across all these communications, a unified message emerged: the necessity of strengthening joint efforts to maintain peace and prevent the region from slipping into broader conflict.

The State of Kuwait has strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing them as a clear violation of international law and a dangerous threat to regional security and has intensified its diplomatic outreach to prevent further escalation.
Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, who currently chairs the Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), engaged in a series of telephone calls with several key regional and international counterparts, reports Al-Rai daily.
His efforts were part of Kuwait’s broader strategy to support regional stability and de-escalation. Al-Yahya also received reciprocal calls from other foreign ministers, reflecting Kuwait’s active diplomatic role.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kuwait denounces the attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation forces as a blatant violation of Iranian sovereignty and an alarming development that jeopardizes peace in the region.
The Ministry renewed its appeal to the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to take firm action to halt these violations and safeguard regional stability.
Foreign Minister Al-Yahya spoke with his counterparts in Bahrain (Abdullatif Al Zayani), Qatar (Sultan Al Muraikhi), and Iran (Abbas Araghchi).
He also received calls from Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi. Additionally, he consulted with GCC Secretary-General Jassim Al-Budaiwi.
In his conversation with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Al-Yahya conveyed Kuwait’s solidarity with Iran and its people, affirming Kuwait’s rejection of all forms of violence and escalation. He emphasized the urgent need for collective diplomatic and political action to defuse tensions and restore calm.
The call with the Saudi Foreign Minister focused on reviewing the latest developments, assessing the regional and international impact of the Israeli aggression, and exploring avenues for enhanced Gulf coordination to preserve security.
Across all these communications, a unified message emerged: the necessity of strengthening joint efforts to maintain peace and prevent the region from slipping into broader conflict.
In a parallel development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Kuwaiti citizens in areas affected by regional tensions to prioritize their safety.
The Ministry advised them to follow all local safety directives and to leave such regions as soon as possible, circumstances permitting. For emergencies, the Ministry provided two hotline numbers: (+965-159) and (+965-22225504).
