Kuwait condemns Israeli strikes on Iran; a grave violation of international law

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong statement on Friday condemning the Israeli military attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing them as a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions, and a blatant infringement on Iranian sovereignty.

In its statement, the ministry stressed that such acts of aggression pose a serious threat to regional security and stability, warning that continued escalation could have far-reaching consequences for the entire Middle East.

“The State of Kuwait renews its call to the international community — particularly the United Nations Security Council — to uphold their responsibilities by taking immediate and decisive action to stop these violations,” the ministry declared.

It emphasized the urgent need to safeguard regional peace and prevent further deterioration of the situation.

Kuwait’s position aligns with similar calls from Gulf and international actors urging restraint, dialogue, and adherence to international law to avoid a wider conflict.
