Kuwait City’s Darwaza intersection set to reopen after four-year hiatus
Dr. Noura Al-Mashan, Minister of Public Works, will visit the site soon to announce the Al-Abdulrazzaq Gate reopening by next week.
The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation is set to reopen the Al-Abdulrazzaq Gate in Kuwait City, following nearly four years of closure for maintenance, Al Rai newspaper reports.
Informed sources within the authority expect the reopening of Kuwait City’s Darwaza intersection by the end of this week or early next week at the latest.
The sources told the newspaper that the contractor overseeing the maintenance work is nearing the final stage of asphalt paving. They also anticipate that Dr. Noura Al-Mashan, the Minister of Public Works, will soon visit the site to officially announce the opening date.
